Always post by brand name (if the station advertises a brand) and put the station name in the comments field. You can do that in your favorite station list and it's there all the time. Hi Spike. The site moderators have asked us to include station names in the price posts (it's in the guidelines). Although not mandatory it gives people who don't know the area more landmarks to look for. There are a few of us who update posts that are missing that information after asking our spotters to verify the prices or call the stations for verification.

Keep an eye on that Mobil (Clippermart) in Wiscasset. Clipper Mart has been selling off their stores left and right and a company called Energy North has taken over several of them. The point is if you see that change you might want to change your posting on the Master Station List.

A lot of times one of us will post a change based on something we've seen other people post prices for but we also ask for someone local to confirm. Welcome to the forum!

You're good. Take a look at the thread and you'll see what we do. It's just to keep everyone "in the loop" and if one of us messes up we can watch each other's back.

No you didn't make any mistakes. We've made a habit though of notifying each other on that thread when any of us make changes. It also gives us a chance to ask each other for confirmation if we think it's necessary.
