"The Greens need to lighten up. The transition from a fossil-based energy policy to a more environmental friendly policy is going to take time. Rome was not built in a day." I'm a greenie and tree-hugger myself, but, first and foremost I'm a REALIST! We need oil, gas, etc. But we need to move forward with alternatives. I'm not in favor of most anything Obama or this administration or Congress or this government has done or are planning. Gas could be cheaper, at least a little bit. It doesn't have to be $5 a gallon as many among the greens, left, those at Big Oil, OPEC and even bankers want. Ethanol COULD be done right and be $1.79 a gallon! We COULD have vehicles on the road right NOW getting 70 to 120 mpg and we have the fleet fuel standard at 54.5 mpg right NOW. There's too many greedy on both sides that won't let it happen! They just want more out of us all!
