TransCanada submits new Keystone XL pipeline plan

Fox News -- For the first time since President Obama issued a controversial order halting its progress, the proposed Keystone XL Pipeline is once again on track for bureaucratic review after TransCanada submitted a new route through Nebraska designed to avoid environmentally sensitive areas.

The new plan, which TransCanada submitted to the Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality on Wednesday, takes the Keystone project out of the deep freeze that began in January when Obama agreed with the recommendation of the State Department to reject the initial pipeline application.

This new development, first reported by Fox News, allows Nebraska officials to review the impact of the pipeline's adjusted route. It also opens the door for the pipeline's builder, TransCanada, to submit a new complete proposa

More than $1.1 million gallons of oil spilled into the Kalamazoo River.

In 2010.

Still not cleaned up.

And we have a bunch of fools sreaming to build the Keystone.......They haven't even shown they can clean up any mess, let alone without making the site a wasteland.

before the pipeline is ever approved they should have transcanada prove it can completely clean up ANY spill completely..... within days.

if they don't would be like building a fireworks factory where there is no fire department --- totally stupid.

another attempt to selling fuel to the rest of the world, keeping prices in the US and Canada high and jobs low. TransCanada doesn't tell much of the truth, only where it fits its business plan.

drpepper if reality is based on facts, then it's the right wing posters here who have no clue what it is. If there is anything factually incorrect in my post, please feel free to provide actual proof from a legitimate source. Sorry, that excludes Fox and most political sites on the internet. Impartial studies have shown Fox News viewers to be the least informed of anyone, including those who don't watch any tv news. If that's the source of your reality, it is actually fantasy.

If I'm such a crazed Obmama supporter, why did I point out his administration broke the law? And why did allegedly liberal publications, namely the NY Times and Rolling Stone, publish solid evidence of these illegal actions. To make Keystone look bad? TransCanada has more than done that on its own. Hillary should resign over this, and the members of her dept who allowed it should be prosecuted, along with Hillary if she knew about it. Unlike the constantly heard Solyndra tempest in a teapot, this is clear cut illegality. I guess because it proves Obama is not in any way a captive of the enviromentalists since he allowed TransCanada unprecedented access in the approval process, someone on the right would have to admit they're wrong. So I'm sure you'll just ignore it and keep to your talking points. I'm waiting to see how my info is removed from reality...
